Obsidian Systems: Spreading awareness about an industry summit

Business challenge

Obsidian Systems is South Africa’s leading open-source company, focusing on providing agile software solutions in a changing world. With big-name speakers from Amazon Web Services, FNB, and MMI appearing at the Atlassian in Africa Summit 2018, Obsidian Services needed to make decision makers from enterprise-sized organisations aware that they should go to.


We created two separate FinTech audiences: dev ops leaders who use CRM and business technology, and business decision makers.


Dot Network’s messaging showed each audience exactly how relevant the Atlassian in Africa Summit was to them and highlighted how attending it would benefit their working lives.


The dev ops audience had an over-delivery of 418% against the goals and the business decision maker audience over-delivered by 370%. That’s what we call results.
